Our Vision

SFIA envisions the development of a sustainable agriculture framework through the SOMS package of farming practices. By promoting efficient and innovative soluble fertilizer solutions, we aim to empower farmers, enhance soil health, and drive agricultural sustainability across India.

Our Goals

SFIA is committed to achieving key industry advancements that promote ease of business and sustainable agricultural practices:

NABL Accreditation of testing laboratories to ensure quality and standardization in fertilizer production.
Single-window licensing system through a national portal, simplifying regulatory processes.
Ease of doing business by advocating the repeal of fertilizer movement control and Essential Commodities Act (ECA) restrictions on non-subsidized fertilizers.

Through these initiatives, SFIA aims to build a progressive, efficient, and farmer-centric fertilizer industry that supports national agricultural growth.

Who we are?

SFIA is a collaboration of entrepreneurs who have been instrumental in shaping Indian horticulture and improving farmers’ lives through a personalized, one-on-one approach for over 30 years. While the soluble fertilizer industry was legally recognized in 2002, industry veterans united in 2017 to establish it as an association, which was formally registered as a trust in 2019. Today, SFIA is guided by a seven-member board dedicated to driving innovation, policy reforms, and sustainable agricultural practices.
